The new offices of this premier Phoenix law firm were designed to be contemporary, but also warm and sophisticated. This law library also serves as a gathering place. Through a user-friendly dimming system, Ross De Alessi designed flexible lighting for different functions.

McKesson Corporate Headquarters
The McKesson Building is located on a busy corner in San Francisco’s Financial District. The owner required a new lighting system dynamic enough to accommodate rotating art exhibits, allow clear night viewing from outside, have a luminous “glow from within” appearance, and establish a prominent yet conservative appearance. Ross De Alessi met these challenges, while still keeping within both a contractor’s pre-negotiated bid cost and strict energy codes.

Dendreon
This cutting-edge biotech corporation requested a lighting makeover for its headquarters’ extensive atrium. Several concepts were presented to the CEO, who ultimately selected the option featuring striking, custom-designed hand blown glass chandeliers as the focal centerpiece. These chandeliers give the massive expanse a sense of volume and movement, through a delicate balance of mass and space.
