To solve the design directive, Ross De Alessi used an architectural preset dimming system designed to interface with occupancy sensors at each vignette. As a buyer travelling through the showroom approached the end of one vignette, the lighting would fade, and the next vignette’s lighting would ramp up slowly, serving as a guide throughout the showroom.
